All Christians to be one

Archbishop of Canterbury
In John 17 Jesus prayed for “all Christians to be one, as Jesus and his father are one”.
May this prayer, from the heart of God, be our prayer this week and forever more.
Amen

Worshipping Friends at BudockThurs 17th Jan 2019!

These last couple of days I cannot escape a growing sense of His infinite nearness and His passionate desire to know us. To know, commune with, the ones He made, knitted together, dreamt up. As this sense gradually sinks in I find myself utterly humbled, moved and stirred.

Thank you to The Prayer Room for having us yesterday morn. A spacious and focused time loving, waiting on and responding to Jesus. Deeply exciting!

This eve we head to St Budock Parish Church near Falmouth for 2 hours of praise and worship. Come along if you are free, all welcome.
Time: 7:30 - 9:30pm
Address: 1 Church Town, Budock Water, Falmouth TR11 5BZ

Song of Songs 7:10
I belong to my beloved,
and his desire is for me.

. #ThursdaysinBlackStudy - Pray - Act against rape and violence. #ThursdaysinBlack #WCC

The campaign is simple but profound. Wear black on Thursdays. Wear a pin to declare you are part of the global movement resisting attitudes and practices that permit rape and violence. Show your respect for women who are resilient in the face of injustice and violence. Encourage others to join you.

As one way of strengthening the campaign, the WCC has developed a series of resources, including templates for posters, roll-ups, and badges that are available for all partners to use and customize. Today was the first time the Ecumenical Centre staff and guests gathered for a group picture with the latest roll-up designed for WCC!
