ALCOHOL AWARENESS ROADSHOW

Tricky’s Hotel, Tolgus Mount, Redruth, TR15 3TA

An invitation to attend a Professionals’ Awareness Roadshow

organised by Alcoholics Anonymous Cornwall Intergroup

On Tuesday 13 November 2018, Alcoholics Anonymous is holding a Roadshow at Tricky’s Hotel, Tolgus Mount, Redruth, TR15 3TA.  This event is intended to inform the public and professionals about how Alcoholics Anonymous works.

Although AA is an anonymous fellowship, it is not secret or invisible. Our aim is to show how men and women in the grip of alcohol dependency are able to recover.  According to Public Health Surveys as many as one in four adults in Cornwall drink alcohol at “hazardous levels”. Research shows that every ten years there is a notable increase in the number of young people affected by liver disease as a direct result of alcohol consumption.

Alcoholics Anonymous wishes to invite you to attend this Roadshow in Redruth which will run from 10:00 am until 1:00 pm (registration starts at 09:30 am with coffee and biscuits provided).

Whether you have a professional interest or you are concerned about alcoholism and want to know more, you are welcome to attend.

We can provide a Continuing Professional Development Certificate of Attendance (CPD) from Cornwall Intergroup for your employer/employee.

Please visit the professional pages at www.aa-cornwall.co.uk for more information and details of this session.

Thank you for your attention and we look forward to seeing you at the Roadshow.
